Schwalbach im Taunus, 09.11.2022 - The Smart Real Estate Operations Platform "Thing-it" has received ISO 27001 certification. It confirms that the software from Thing Technologies meets the high requirements of the standard with regard to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data. Customers of the technology company thus save the working time and costs that would be incurred by carrying out their own audits. Thingit's ISO 27001 certification ensures data protection in addition to information security.

Compliance with the standard ensures that we continuously monitor and optimize our information security. In this way, we protect our users' company and customer data and store, process and delete it according to predefined security standards," explains Ella Wotschal, Information Security Officer at Thing Technologies. She was responsible for the certification and is solely responsible for data security at Thing Technologies. As part of the certification process, Thing Technologies further optimized the IT security processes for the Thing-it product.

The basis for the certification of the software is the ISMS from Thing Technologies. The ISMS ensures and manages the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all processed data. ISO 27001 is the leading international standard for information security management systems. It describes how an ISMS is set up, implemented and operated in order to continuously improve the handling of information in an organization. The standard also includes Thing Technologies GmbH - 15.12.2021 2 /2 requirements for how information security risks are assessed and handled in the company.
